Introduction to black hole physics

These pages accompany Éric Gourgoulhon 's lectures at Les Houches Summer School Gravitational Waves 2018.

The lectures introduce some aspects of black hole physics. The prerequisite is some basic knowledge of general relativity, at the level of an introductory course, as in Thomas Moore's lectures at the same summer school.
